ZAGREB, Feb 16 (Hina) - The leadership of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) on Wednesday evening chose the party's candidates for about a dozen county prefects and defined further steps in the preparations for the local election to be held on 21 May, and after the meeting the HDZ leader Andrej Plenkovic said that the party's mayoral candidate in the capital of Zagreb would be chosen after one more round of consultations with the HDZ city branch.
