ZAGREB, Nov 16 (Hina) - The possibility of income tax changes resulting in deficits in the budgets of local self-government units and the proposed abolishing of tax exemptions for first-time home buyers elicited the strongest criticisms of opposition members of Parliament during a debate on the government-sponsored comprehensive tax reform on Tuesday afternoon, while MPs of the ruling HDZ party maintained that units of local self-government would be compensated for possible deficits.
