ZAGREB, Aug 27 (Hina) - The 11th edition of the of the Renaissance Festival started in the northern Croatian town of Koprivnica on Saturday with a procession of costumed participants along the city's medieval fortress walls.
The event, that will close on Sunday, has brought together Croatian and foreign groups and associations that promote medieval customs and guests have come from Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina apart from Croatia.
The festival also includes the presentation of medieval cuisine and concerts of Renaissance music played by costumed musicians.
Last year, 50,000 people visited Koprivnica during the festival.
