Atlas underscored that the festival was being co-organised with one of the strongest regional production agencies - MPG - and all according to strict conditions set by the MTV music channel and its Club MTV brand.
Atlas believes that the festival will open a new chapter on the Croatian festival scene and that in the years to come it could become one of the most important music events in Europe.
"Being issued with a licence to organise the Club MTV Europe Summerblast for a minimum of three years is a logical consequence of our strategy and destination management...we expect around 20,000 visitors to the festival from the region and the world," Atlas CEO Tomislav Varga said.
The Tourism Ministry and the Croatian Tourism Board recognise the value of summer festivals as this will contribute to improving Croatia's popularity as a tourism destination.
