The programme, to be shown on February 12-14, is intended for audiences that possibly do not watch documentaries and is aimed at motivating them to visit the festival, said ZagrebDox director Nenad Puhovski.
"The films to be shown are very good, there are films nominated for the Academy Award, winners of the Sundance and IDFA film festivals, and films shown at the film festivals in Venice and Cannes," said Puhovski.
Novelties of the 12th ZagrebDox are the programme "The Russians Are Coming", featuring nine documentaries about former Soviet states and the programme "Children Change the World", featuring films shot by children - Syrian refugees at two workshops - in Jordan and in Vienna.
The "Fall in Love with Documentaries" programme includes three attractions - the winner of the Sundance film festival "The Wolfpack", the spectacular documentary about humanity "Human", and the South Korean hit "My Love, Don't Cross That River".
