The deed of donation was signed Monday by German Ambassador to Croatia Thomas Eberhard Schultze and Deputy Police Chief Drazen Vitez, the Croatian Interior Ministry said in a statement, adding that the German ambassador said the equipment would have an impact on the border police performance in mobile situations.
The equipment was distributed among 11 police precincts and the Border Administration. A large portion will be used in the Winter Refugee Reception and Transit Centre in Slavonski Brod which received 18 computers and as many cameras intended for the registration of migrants.
