According to a press release from the President's Office, Grabar-Kitarovic expressed her satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations. Both sides underscored the opportunities in developing mutual cooperation and the need to create a framework to strengthen cooperation between entrepreneurs and boosting investments. Special focus was dedicated to investments in Croatia with emphasis on greenfield and brownfield investments.
The talks also reflected on security issues in the Middle East and North Africa.
The leader of the Islamic community in Croatia, Mufti Aziz ef. Hasanovic, was present at the meeting that also focused on an exceptionally successful model of inclusion of the Islamic community in Croatian society, with the conclusion that Croatia's model of coexistence can be an example to others.
The Qataris were interested in Croatia's defence industry and Chief-of-staff Drago Lovric advised them of Croatia's experiences in this field.
