ZAGREB, July 10
(Hina) - The chair of the Croatian Parliament's
Committee on the Constitution, Pedja Grbin of the Social Democratic
Party (SDP), on Friday expressed regret at the fact that none of the
three candidates for Constitutional Court judges had received the
necessary majority support in Parliament and that the constitutional
provision under which those judges should be appointed by a two-thirds
majority vote had obviously missed its purpose.
