The prices measured by HICP went down 0.2% on the year in February in the 28-strong European Union, while in January, they fell by 0.5% y-o-y, Eurostat reported on Tuesday.
In Croatia, consumer prices measured by HICP contracted by 0.4% in February compared with February 2014, after 0.6% drop in January.
Of 20 EU member-states that saw a price drop, Greece, Bulgaria and Lithuania experienced the biggest decreases, -1.9%, -1.7% and -1.5% respectively.
Five EU members saw a yearly price rise, with Sweden being the top performer with + 0.7%.
No changes in consumer prices were registered in Denmark and Latvia in February, while data for Great Britain were unavailable.
Consumer prices rose from January to February by 0.6% in the EU. Croatia's consumer prices in February compared to January went up 0.1%.
