Attending will be presidents Borut Pahor of Slovenia, Andej Kiska of Slovakia, Janos Ader of Hungary, Gjorge Ivanov of Macedonia, Bujar Nishani of Albania, Atifete Jahjaga of Kosovo, and Filip Vujanovic of Montenegro, as well as all three members of Bosnia and Herzegovina's presidency, Mladen Ivanic, Dragan Covic and Bakir Izetbegovic.
Bulgaria will be represented by Parliament Speaker Tsetska Tsacheva and the Czech Republic and Poland by the chairmen of their respective senates, Milan Stech and Bogdan Borusewicz.
Germany will send Bundesrat President Volker Bouffier.
Also in attendance will be the Canadian Minister of State (Foreign Affairs and Consular), Lynne Yelich, a third-generation Croatian-Canadian, as well as about 40 ambassadors, European Commissioner Neven Mimica, and officials of international organisations such as UNICEF, UNHCR, UNDP and EBRD.
Several countries have not yet decided who will represent them at the ceremony.
The team of Croatia's President-elect has said that it is cooperating very well with the Office of outgoing president Ivo Josipovic in the preparation of the inauguration and transfer of authority.
The new president will be sworn in before Constitutional Court President Jasna Omejec.
