The ceremony, like previous ones, will be held in St Mark's Square in Zagreb and will start at noon. Grabar Kitarovic will be sworn in before Constitutional Court President Jasna Omejec.
Since her victory in the presidential election runoff on January 11, February 18 has been mentioned as an inauguration date because the term of outgoing President Ivo Josipovic officially ends then. However, the spokesman confirmed that the date has been moved forward because it will be easier for guests to come on Sunday because it is a non-working day and because the Lent begins on February 18.
The President's Office will send invitations for the inauguration to all embassies in Croatia starting from Tuesday, January 27.
