Nine non-binding bids submitted for purchase of Plat Hotel

ZAGREB, Jan 24 (Hina) - A total of five companies, based in Croatia, plus three companies from abroad have sent their bids for the government's 92.49% stake in the Plat Hotels, with the starting price HRK 99 million in invitation for non-binding offers, and the ninth letter of intent for takeover was made by the Plat company's management and employers, who are the only one to publicly confirm their application so far.

The identity of other bidders has not been made public and the State Property Management Office (DUUDI) explains that it is not obliged to reveal the identity of bidders during the process of collection of non-binding bids.

According to unofficial reports the three foreign bidders are Netex Inc., the Untied States, Liegenschaften AG, Switzerland, and Eco Services SAS, registered in Dubrovnik by its founder Eco Services SAS from France.

The five bidders from Croatia are "Nauticki Centar Trogir", the Zagreb-based KHA, Adriainvest Inzenjering also from Zagreba, the Zagreb-headquartered Delta Savjetovanje and "3E Turizam" based in Slunj, a source who spoke on condition of anonymity told Hina.

According to the decision of the Restructuring and Sale Centre (CERP), the starting price for the purchase of 182,440 shares in the Plat Hotels is HRK 548.10 per share.

The hotel company Pero Matic has said that the company has successfully finalised pre-bankruptcy settlement and the CERP has endorsed a model for the consolidation of the company on its own.
