ZAGREB, Jan 19
(Hina) - The Franak civil society group on Monday
sent the Croatian National Bank (HNB) an open letter asking for
information from 2003 to date concerning bank business for banks
registered in Croatia with regard to whether loans they took were
denominated in the Swiss franc or euro, while at the same time the
Ministry of Finance has started a meeting with the HNB and commercial
banks over loans pegged to the franc.
