Union representative Hasan Uzicanin of the footwear factory "Aida" told reporters that the protesters, who had marched to the border with Croatia prompted by their dire financial situation, would most probably continue their protest outside local government offices in Tuzla.
Buses were sent from Tuzla during the day to Orasje to bring back freezing and exhausted protesters.
Around 200 workers had set out on their 75-kilometre march this past Wednesday, in protest at their difficult financial situation.
Participating in the protest march were workers of the footwear factory "Aida", of the steel-casting foundry in Tuzla, the detergent factory "Dita" and the furniture factory "Konjuh" from Zivinice.
They have not received their salaries for months and they have no health or pension insurance.
The resigned Tuzla Canton government has offered them one-off financial aid but the protesters have refused it, insisting on a lasting solution and on being given jobs.
