The amount spent relates to the period from June to the end of August.
The largest portion of the amount was spent by German tourists - more than EUR 103 million or 24.1% more than in the summer of 2013, followed by visitors from Great Britain, with EUR 64.5 million, up 16.6%.
They are followed by Norwegians with EUR 58 million, Italians with 44.4 million and the French with around 41 million.
Foreign nationals visiting Croatia this summer spent mostly on accommodation (EUR 128 million, up 17.2%), entertainment (58 million, up 21%) and petrol (50 million).
