BELGRADE, Nov 1
(Hina) - Serbia could open the first of the 33
negotiation chapters with the European Union by the end of this year,
the head of the Serbian team for EU accession negotiations, Tanja
Miscevic, said on Saturday, adding that some member states supported
Italy's proposal that the negotiations begin by the end of this year,
whereas others made it conditional on normalisation of relations with
Kosovo.
