Izetbegovic, Covic and Ivanic new Bosnian presidency members

SARAJEVO, Oct 27 (Hina) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's new tripartite presidency will consist of Bakir Izetbegovic, Dragan Covic and Mladen Ivanic as the respective representatives of the Bosniak, Croat and Serb communities, according to final results of the 12 October general election presented by the Central Election Commission in Sarajevo on Monday.

Milorad Dodik, the leader of the SNSD party, won the election for the president of Republika Srpska, while the Croat vice-president in the Serb entity will be Josip Jerkovic of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) and the Bosniak vice-president will be Ramiz Salkic of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA).

The 42-seat House of Representatives of the state Parliament will include 10 SDA deputies and six SNSD members, while the Democratic Front (DF) of Zeljko Komsic and the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) will have five deputies each. The Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) led by media magnate-turned-politician Fahrudin Radoncic won four seats, as did the HDZ BiH-led coalition, while another Croat party, HDZ 1990, won one seat. The remaining five seats will be filled by five minor parties.
