Tomasic said the delegation's visit was also of a humanitarian character and that they had donated four playgrounds to communities hit by disastrous floods in May this year.
She said that members of the delegation on Saturday took part in building and equipping playgrounds in Rajevo Selo, Racinovci and Drenovci.
40 AECR members from 15 countries participated in the project to rebuild three playgrounds and build one.
Thanking the delegation for visiting Slavonia and for their humanitarian engagement, Tomasic said the AECR delegation also visited schools in the flood-hit areas, promising to secure funding for the remaining equipment which the schools lacked.
AECR secretary-general Daniel Hannan said he admired Croatia for its path in the last two decades, underlining the country's big potential for further development.
