VUKOVAR, Sept 23
(Hina) - Commenting on the forcible removal of dual
Latin and Cyrillic signs in the eastern city of Vukovar on Tuesday,
Mayor Ivan Penava said that "the government's decision to put
dual-alphabet signs was bad for Croatia and for Vukovar", while
Parliament Speaker Josip Leko said that efforts should be made to
enforce democratic standards in the Croatian society.
