ZAGREB, Aug 13
(Hina) - The mayor of the eastern Croatian town of
Vukovar, Ivan Penava of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), said on
Wednesday evening he would respect the Constitutional Court's ruling
on the referendum question on the Cyrillic script and bilingualism in
Vukovar, adding that criticism that this decision brought nothing new
was in fact his personal opinion by which he wanted to call on the
authorities tohelp Vukovar and not turn it into "a case".
