ZAGREB, Aug 11
(Hina) - After Vecernji List daily recently ran a big
interview with Zagreb County Court president Ivan Turudic, in which he
lambasted the current government - which the other media interpreted
as an announcement of his candidacy for Justice Minister backed by the
opposition Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party, Turudic said he had
expected heated reactions, but was somewhat surprised by President Ivo
Josipovic's comment.
