KARLOVAC, July 29
(Hina) - Representatives of the Islamic community
in Karlovac, 50 kilometres south of Zagreb, and the local association
of ethnic Bosniaks who participated in the defence of Croatia during
the 1991-1995 war of independence, held a wreath-laying ceremony for
Bosniaks killed in the war, and the commemoration was held on Tuesday
on the occasion of Shaheed Day which the local Muslims observe on the
second day of the Ramadan Bayram holidays.
