ZAGREB, May 5
(Hina) - Finance Minister Slavko Linic on Monday
submitted a letter to Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic voicing his
opinion on the "Spacva case", accusing former Tax Administration
director Nada Cavlovic Smiljanec of giving an unfoundedly low
appraisal of the land in the eastern Croatian town of Vinkovic which
the state had take over from the Spacva wood-processing company to
settle its tax debt in the pre-bankruptcy proceedings.
