Only four Croatian candidates for EP support equal rights for LGBTI persons

ZAGREB, April 23 (Hina) - Ahead of next month's elections for the European Parliament, the lesbian group Kontra has launched a campaign calling on candidates to sign a "come out" statement pledging that they will promote the human rights and equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersexual (LGBTI) persons, but only four of 275 Croatian candidates for the European Parliament expressed such readiness at a panel discussion in Zagreb on Wednesday.
