ZAGREB, April 18
(Hina) - The Foreign Investors Council (FIC) in
Croatia on Friday accused the government of according preferential
treatment to state-owned companies and companies important for the
government to the detriment of companies owned by foreign investors,
and these accusations were triggered by the government's recent
decision to transfer the job of delivering gas supplies from INA's
"Prirodni Plin (Natural Gas) company to the Croatian power provider
(HEP) that will deliver gas to distributers who provide Croatian
households with this fuel.
