Mergers necessary to make Croatian bakery and pastry producers more competitive

ZAGREB, March 22 (Hina) - Croatia's bakery industry and pastry production are one of the most active industry branches in the country with a permanent growth over years, however, in order to make this sector more competitive, mergers of businesses will have to be conducted in the years to come, it was said at a round table discussion on bakery products and pastry, organised in Zagreb this past Wednesday by the "Poslovni Dnevnik" business magazine.
