OSIJEK, March 21
(Hina) - A pre-trial hearing in the case of Vukovar
Mayor Zeljko Sabo of the Social Democratic party (SDP), suspected of
having tried to bribe two Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) councillors
in the eastern Croatian town, was once again postponed before the
Osijek County Court on Friday, and according to unofficial reports the
suspect requested a plea agreement with USKOK, the national anti-fraud
office.
