Trade unions to stage protest on day of parliament debate on labour act amendments

SPLIT, Feb 17 (Hina) - Leaders of several trade union federations said at a meeting with union representatives from Dalmatia in Split on Monday that a protest would be held outside the government and parliament headquarters on the day of the parliamentary debate on amendments to the Labour Act, after which a general strike would be launched against the adoption of what they described as harmful legislative changes.
