ZAGREB, Feb 14
(Hina) - The Finance Ministry said on Friday it had
made every effort for pre-bankruptcy settlement in the Mirna fish
processing and canning factory to succeed but that it could not have
taken part in a vote based on a demand that was not in keeping with
the law and that Geneza, the company mentioned as a strategic partner,
did not provide any bank guarantee or letter of intent to show that it
could complete Mirna's recapitalisation.
