(Hina) - Union leaders said on Monday they would ask
the government to have a parliamentary discussion on draft amendments
to the labour bill postponed for six months so that some more work
could be done on the amendments and in exchange they are prepared to
preserve social peace, namely freeze the announced activities,
including the possibility of a general strike.
