ZAGREB, Feb 7
(Hina) - The leaders of three rail workers' unions
said on Friday that signing a collective agreement between the
management of the Croatian Railways (HZ) Cargo company and the SSH
train drivers' union, which envisages 804 layoffs in HZ Cargo, did not
lead to economising and the company's survival but only bought time
until the arrival of private operators, while causing huge damage to
HZ Cargo and questioning its survival.
