OSIJEK, Feb 5
(Hina) - A Croatian member of the European Parliament,
Social Democrat Biljana Borzan, warned at a plenary session of the
European Parliament in Strasbourg on Wednesday that negative trends
were affecting Croatian rural areas, notably small agricultural
holdings in the Slavonia region, and that their number was declining
annually by 10 percent, Borzan's office in Osijek said in a
statement.
