(Hina) - The head of the European Commission
Representation in Croatia said on Tuesday, on the occasion of European
Data Protection Day or Privacy Day, that the right to privacy was one
of the fundamental rights in the EU that needed to be protected,
notably because of concerns about uncontrolled surveillance made
possible by modern technologies.
