Sanader says witness statement appraising his property false, tendentious

ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - A former Prime Minister and leader of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Ivo Sanader, harshly criticised expert witness Zrinko Rucevic at his trial in the Fimi Media case on Monday, saying that in evaluating the difference between his family's income and property the witness did not take into account witness statements that were in his favour and that he appraised his art collection to his detriment by not taking into account the fact that some works of art were not purchased but were gifts.
