The intention of this book is to bring some order to this field given that over 25 various editions of four orthographic rule books have been in use.
At the book launch ceremony, the institute's director, Zeljko Jozic, said that the institute, as the most competent institution for the matter of the Croatian language, had been very committed to this project and carried it out responsibly and thoroughly.
Education Minister Zeljko Jovanovic praised the Croatian Orthographic Rule Book for its contribution to literacy.
