ZAGREB, Nov 27
(Hina) - The beginning of Hanukkah, the eight-day
Jewish festival of lights which celebrates the rededication of the
Holy Temple in Jerusalem, was marked in Zagreb on Wednesday by
kindling of the lights of a unique candelabrum, the nine-branched
Menorah or Hanukiah. The ceremony was attended by Croatian Parliament
Speaker Josip Leko.
