(Hina) - The Croatian Parliament's Gender Equality
Committee held a theme session on Monday to mark the International Day
for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is observed on
November 25, stressing the need for Croatia to ratify the Council of
Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women
and Domestic Violence, known as the Istanbul Convention, as soon as
possible.
