(Hina) - The tourism and hospitality industry said on
Thursday that raising an intermediate VAT rate from 10% to 13% as of 1
January 2014 was a very bad decision, notably when it came to
investments in and the competitiveness of Croatia's tourism in
relation to the Mediterranean and Europe where this rate is
significantly lower, often below 10%.
