(Hina) - Although online interaction between readers
and media can contribute to public debate, the practice in Croatia
shows that readers who post their comments on articles often resort to
invective and hate speech, which has prompted a web portal to cancel
the comments option, while others have stepped up the monitoring of
their comments sections.
