BRUSSELS, Nov 5
(Hina) - The European Commissioner for Economic and
Monetary Affairs and the Euro and Vice President of the European
Commission, Olli Rehn, confirmed on Tuesday that Croatia would soon be
placed in the Excessive Deficit Procedure (EDP) considering that its
budget deficit significantly exceeded the three percent mark and that
public debt was expected to continue to grow rapidly.
