(Hina) - Finance Minister Slavko Linic on Tuesday
told a gathering of Croatian exporters that Croatia's placement in the
Excessive Deficit Procedure (EDP) would not have a negative impact on
the economy except for the previously announced increase in the
intermediate Value Added Tax (VAT) rate.
