He was visiting Glina, Dvor and Hrvatska Kostajnica to find out how Croats and Serbs live in areas of special state concern.
In Glina, reporters asked him to comment on the fact that yet another bilingual sign was taken down from a public building in the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar. "Let the government work. The government said it would solve this problem and I hope it will."
In Dvor and Kostajnica, he laid wreaths at monuments to defenders killed in the Homeland War. At the cemetery in Dvor, he laid a wreath at a mass grave of Serb civilians killed in the Homeland War.
