(Hina) - The Croatian Employers' Association (HUP)
said on Monday that the figures on Croatia's deficit and public debt
contained in the latest Eurostat report were as expected and confirmed
the likelihood of launching the Excessive Deficit Procedure for
Croatia in compliance with the rules of the European Union which the
country joined on 1 July, with employers looking forward to the fiscal
discipline to be imposed under the EDP rules.
