On the first day, he is scheduled to meet with his host, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, for talks on the strengthening of political dialogue between the two countries, economic partnership after Croatia joined the European Union on July 1, regional cooperation in Southeast Europe and EU enlargement to the region.
On Monday, Josipovic will also meet with Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski and Parliament Speaker Mihail Mikov. On Tuesday, Josipovic and Plevneliev will attend a Bulgarian-Croatian business forum. Josipovic will also give a talk on the European prospects of Southeast Europe at Sofia University.
