Asked by the press to comment on those claims, she added that it was first necessary to establish if that was Croatian territory and define the border, check the situation in the land books and, if there was illegal construction, act accordingly.
The minister said she had heard about this issue and that it appeared in other areas where the border demarcation was under discussion. In such cases, one must act sensibly and first check the land books so that Croatia, as a country which recently joined the European Union, would not have additional problems.
