BRUSSELS, Sept 17
(Hina) - The Croatian member of the European
Commission (EC) and Commissioner for Consumer Protection, Neven
Mimica, on Tuesday sent a letter to the media to explain last week's
meeting of the Commission when the college of commissioners supported
the activation of Article 39 of Croatia's accession treaty, stressing
that the Commission had still not made its decision on the matter.
