BELGRADE, Sept 17
(Hina) - Persons with Serbian citizenship moved
upward from the third place to the top of the list of asylum seekers
in Germany in August, when as many as 1,170 Serbian nationals
submitted applications for asylum in that western European country,
followed by Russians (1,096) and Syrians (1,021), the Serbian
electronic media reported on Tuesday, citing statistics kept by the
German ministry of the interior.
