VUKOVAR, Sept 3
(Hina) - A member of the Initiative for the Defence
of Croatian Vukovar, Vlado Iljkic, said on Monday evening that the
situation in the town after the anti-Cyrillic protest earlier in the
day was becoming "cataclysmic", urging the government to call an
urgent session and impose a moratorium of three to six months on the
placement of dual Latin and Cyrillic signs on government institutions
in the town.
