In the 10 days of the festival, some 150 various programmes, including concerts, plays for adults and children, workshops, fun activities and other entertainment programmes will be organised at different outdoor venues.
Some 50 concerts are to be held featuring pop stars and rock bands at three venues.
Traditional crafts and products of the local cuisine will also be on offer to visitors promenading through the town.
The Hungarian embassy in Zagreb has taken part in the organisation and will present the Hungarian culture, traditional crafts during the festival.
During last year's "Spancirfest", 2.3 million promenaders visited Varazdin.
