ZAGREB, July 1
(Hina) - The sign with the inscription "Croatian
Customs Authority" was formally removed from the Bregana border
crossing point between Croatia and Slovenia at midnight on Sunday to
mark Croatia's accession to the European Union and the customs union,
whereby customs formalities were abolished to speed up border
crossing.
